When I run the command "Create Inspection Sheet" everything appears to be okay but no spreadsheet is created. What is wrong?

This is usually caused by one of two things:

1.No supported version of Excel is installed on the computer. See the System Requirements section to find out what version of Excel is supported.

2.The paths to the Excel export templates are incorrect. See the help topic Using the Template Editor for help.

The values for my dimensions and tolerances are rounded to the nearest whole number in the inspection sheet. What is wrong?

This is usually due to the cells in your Excel template being set to an incorrect number of decimal places.  Change the number of decimal places by selecting the field or fields affected, right-click the entity and select Format Cells. Under the Category section choose Number and adjust the decimal places to the correct number for your dimension.

Some of the text in my notes or hole callouts are gibberish. What is wrong?

This is due to an unmapped character in the font that is used for dimensions, GTOLs, notes and hole callouts. In order to support all of those attribute types, a special font called InspectionXpert GDT is used to represent the attribute values. Due to the number of possible characters in the cells, there are some that just aren't part of the font. If this is a critical issue for you, then try changing the font on the Excel cell to Arial or a standard font. That may resolve the issue in some cases.
