The associated information for a ballooned characteristics can be changed using the property manager.  When a value is ballooned, the property manager fills out most of the fields in the General section for each dimension type using InspectionXpert's Optical Character Recognition engine.

The property manager allows you to set:

Characteristic Values

Inspection Methods

Balloon Position and Look

Custom Fields

The subtype for a dimension is automatically selected for everything but Geometric tolerances. After ballooning a geometric tolerance, you must click the Sub Type down-arrow and click on the correct type.  You can also use selective recapture (reselect a value in the view window and click capture) to capture the numeric value of a geometric tolerance and InspectionXpert will treat it as a limit dimension and add the upper and lower limit information to the property manager fields.

NOTE:  Selective recapture can also be used to recapture or crop a value for any ballooned dimension.
